For most of my life, I’ve introduced myself first and foremost as a violist. It was the identity I worked tirelessly to claim – earning degrees, performing on world-class stages, playing on film scores and records, and making a living as a professional musician. But beneath the accolades, it never felt like the full truth. 

It wasn’t until I found myself drawn to something else – something I’d always done naturally – that I realized my true gift wasn’t just playing music on stage, but creating harmony off stage.

Today I help online educators and coaches design, launch and run their courses. But what I really do is help people step fully into who they are.

It turns out that my lifelong obsession with structure, organization, and problem-solving isn’t a character flaw; it’s a kind of alchemy.

When systems are built with care and intention, they don’t just support people –they empower them.

I bring order to chaos, clarity to overwhelm, and a little bit of magic to the mechanics of teaching and learning.

The throughline in all of this– music, structure, problem-solving – is an unshakable desire to create something meaningful. Whether I’m refining a curriculum, organizing a program, or guiding someone through their own transformation, I’m doing what I’ve always done: making sense of the mess, finding patterns, and helping people (myself included) discover who they truly are.

Maybe the title I was searching for all along isn’t “Professional Fill-in-the-Blank.” Maybe it’s just: Kate, creator of beautiful things.
